“Le rorqual bleu est pacifique et il est le plus gros animal sur Terre. C’est l’un de mes animaux préférés. Je me souviens d’avoir lu que son cœur pesait plus de 150 kilos! 

 
C’est l’animal le plus grand et le plus bruyant de la planète, même plus qu’un moteur à réaction. Il est devenu une image symbolique de la mer, et je l’ai utilisé comme motif dans mes œuvres liées aux questions environnementales, donc c’est personnel pour moi.”

"J'ai choisi de dessiner la murène à cause de sa belle peau texturée et de son drôle de corps bancal. La murène a l'air très méchante, mais je l'aime beaucoup. Je sais qu'on en trouve dans le monde entier mais elle me semble très méditerranéenne et me plaît depuis que je vis ici."

“The Football Fish is cute and interesting. It has a very unique way of attracting prey. It eats small fish that have gathered by shining a lure that comes out of its head. The silhouette of a lumpy animal emitting light at the end of something sticking out of the top of its head is so cool, that once I saw it, I could never forget it!“

“I was always pretty sure I wanted to draw the Leopard Seal because I like it’s character, something like an underwater dog. A fantastic, cute, Antarctic animal that sometimes can look a little scary. I like the blobby and hydrodynamic body shape too.“
