The Wishful Squid

We give fifty percent of our profits to Ocean conservation via our dedicated philanthropic sheltered fund The Wishful Squid.

Founded in 2020, the Wishful Squid is dedicated to restoring ocean health by supporting inspiring initiatives in science, education, advocacy, and habitat protection.

We thought of the name because squids are very smart and have three hearts, and our fund employs hope, compassion and intelligence - just like its mascot - to protect the ocean.

The Wishful Squid sheltered fund is placed under the umbrella of the Philanthropia Fondation which takes care of all the required administrative, accounting and legal obligations for us. This leaves The Wishful Squid to focus on ocean conservation.

The first project supported by The Wishful Squid is the Cape Well-met Vulnerable Marine Ecosystem.
